We are all believing God for something: circumstances we want changed, a breakthrough in different areas of our lives, the fulfillment of dreams God has placed in our hearts. But sometimes, we try to figure out how it's all going to happen. We have pre-conceived ideas about how our miracles will look like. We put God in a box and try to tell Him how to do it, when to do it, and where to do it. Friends, sometimes our miracles will come in a different form at a different time in a different circumstance. God's ways are not our ways. They are higher and better than our ways.
When things don't happen on our timetable, instead of getting discouraged, let’s believe that God has something better in store for us? Just because it doesn't happen our way doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Remember, God has a plan. He's got our backs covered. Let’s not limit Him by trying to get it done our way. Instead, let’s simply trust Him and say “I know You have my best interest at heart and will work to my advantage. Even if I don't get my way, I'm going to stay open and believe that You're in control.”
