Why Am I Suffering?

I remember of a true story of Fr. Jerry Orbos when he talked, for the very first time, with an 8 yr old girl over the phone during his radio program at DZMM. When Fr. Jerry asked how was she doing? And very candidly, this girl said that she has just finished with her third (3rd) dialysis that day. To Fr. Jerry's surprised, he said, how he wished that someday they can meet up and see each other in person. Again, she uttered, how can they see each other when she's totally blind.Today, this girl has turned to be a beautiful, wisdom filled teen age girl and with an angelic voice... by the name Fatima Soriano.

I was floored when I heard this story! Ask me why??  Because often times, we complain of inconveniences we experience while caught in the traffic, too much rain and flood, our Gov't and Church leaders, etc. Life has so much burdens to offer. Family, Relationships, Financial and Health problems that beset our daily lives. It seems that, they have never come to an end. Then, we start asking ourselves, WHY AM I SUFFERING?|
