Frozen Yogurt

One rainy and cold Saturday morning, “To go or not to go?” was the question on my mind.  But after a while, I saw myself getting ready to go. Excited, anxious, clueless…these were my emotions while going to the seminary. At the Jesus Encounter, I prayed for the gift of speaking in tongues. I wanted to worship Him more and I could no longer utter words. The facilitators started praying for each participant and continued worshiping in tongues.

A number of facilitators prayed over me. Tears kept falling down my cheeks. I felt cold, numb, and all my fingers were stretched and I could no longer close my hands. I slowly walked in front and during the anointing, I felt the Holy Spirit run through my body. I felt numb and my hands and arms started to freeze and stretch like how God’s arms were stretched on the cross. I did receive the gift of speaking in tongues while freezing like a frozen yogurt (which I consider a special gift). One message from God: All of us were ask to serve in our own unique ways.
