KNOWING GOD'S WILL

How do we know God's will for us? We all are eager to know. We often ask God “What direction should I take?” or “What decision should I make?" Confusion sets in our minds because we know for a fact that we feel unworthy to decide what’s best for us, because we know we are sinners.

Brother Randy Borromeo mentioned 3 ways to know God’s will. First is to get to know God.  Study about God first and it will be easier to know His personal will for us. Second is to listen to the one who knows the way. Last is to receive God’s grace.  Even if we miss the mark or a make a mess out of our lives, God’s grace will still pour down on us because He is the Lord of second chances.

Truly, being a practicing Christian entails a lot of dedication and sacrifice.
We no longer do things for our own selfish motives; rather, we do things that are pleasing to God. If we want to know God's will for us, we should have the right relationship with God. The love we receive from Christ should flow and touch the people around us and somehow make an impact in their lives. If we are obedient to God, surely His mercy and compassion will be upon us.

Surrendering our lives to Jesus, giving Him total control of our time, talents and our relationships is definitely a sure way of discerning God's will for us. It’s our responsibility to find out what His divine will for us. We need to ask for God's protection to seal us with his Most Precious Blood, to be filled with the Holy Spirit and yield to its leadings. If we know and deeply love

Jesus, we must be firm with our faith. Only then that we can find lasting security.  For apart from Him, we are nothing.

Let us encourage one another to be a living testimony of God's immeasurable love! Take our stand for God, the Almighty!
